Sid Meiers Civilization 5

Sid Meiers Civilization 5 is a Turn Based Strategy game.

This game is about
  • setting up your capital city
  • connecting it with other cities
  • defeating barbarians
  • collecting resources
  • forming an alliance or hostility with the neighbouring cities
  • waging wars or preventing them
  • building mines, pastures, plantations, farms, trading posts etc.
  • upgrading units, eg, warrior -> swordsman -> long-swordsman -> rifleman -> infantry -> mechanized- infantry, each upgrade requires some prerequisites.
  • building markets, banks, mints etc.
  • constructing trade routes between various cities
and much, much, much more!

  • In Sid Meiers Civilization 5, you must protect your capital at all costs. Guard it with one or more units depending on the difficulty. Warrior are good for a start
  • Use your scout to roam around the world in order to find new areas for new settlements. If you think that your home settlement or capital has grown to a good size, create a settler and settle at a new place
  • Research archery and create an archer. You will have a shooter early on in the game. It can later be upgraded to a crossbowman
  • At the same time you can order one of your military units to look for a new area, possibly a barbarian settlement. Defeating them is worth it a lot of times.
  • Find resources nearby. You can buy land as well if you got the money
  • Look for horses and you can build horsemen, chariot archers, knights, cavalries etc
  • Find Iron, oil and other items.
  • Keep exploring and constructing, and advance through the ages and build modern day buildings, structures and units like airplanes, helicopters, anti-aircraft guns, tanks, modern armors, submarines etc
  • Keep on creating wonders as well in Sid Meier s civilization V

This was a little about the game Sid Meier s civilization V and about how you can optimize a few things. . Hope this improves your game, and that you are able to conquer the world in this game at higher difficulty levels. I will keep posting more about Civilization and other games in general as I am still learning this game, and I think will be happily doing the same for a long time to come.
